Another season falls in

Blog Time

Finally, I can say that my new website has been launched. After months of recreating my content, photographs, layout and design, I called technical support in India and she walked me through and did the finishing touches for re-directing my website.

Now, you can click and purchase on any item. You can see my new show schedule, which includes all of my out-of-town shows, including Sedona, Arizona and Austin, Texas in October 2015!

I am so happy and excited to launch not only my new website but my new look and attitude falling into a beautiful new season: Autumn.

Another season falls in

Susie Larsson

I can’t believe that I would wait SO LONG to write another blog post. I will keep it short and sweet.

I’ve been travelling so much this year, flying to Minnesota twice in January and April. I spent my birthday in Saint Paul attending the American Craft Council Show there. It was a gorgeous weekend, when winter’s snow was just melting and the cold, clear, crisp days of spring were just coming in.

I flew down to Arizona for the Tubac show in February, but decided that driving was still the preferred way to get down to Arizona (especially since I had an entire suitcase full of my display items stolen from a storage unit). I drove back down for another successful Scottsdale Arts Festival show.

Driving back through the mountains of California, I saw some very beautiful scenery, once again. I stayed home for a couple shows in May. Had over one month to catch up on all of my special orders and builiding my inventory back to satisfactory levels.

I was invited to four shows in Idaho and Colorado (August & September) respectively. So, I packed my car again and drove east through Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Utah, Wyoming and Colorado, twice! So beautiful and wonderful to be out on the open roads again. The colors were beginning to change and I had my Nikon camera and was able to take some time out between shows to bicycle and sightsee and drive through the Rocky Mountain National Park for the first time.

Now, I have been back home from my last Idaho/Colorado business trip for five days now and the cooler temperatures here, back home have been amazing. The trips to Colorado and Idaho were surprisingly hot, for me at least and I was suffering in the high 80’s - 90 degree weather. Now, I can go outside and enjoy some cooler temperatures here this week with brilliant blue skies.

I love to travel so much. It is always awe-inspiring to see so many wonderful places, to roll along the highways. It is very nice to return home too.

I’ll be home until the end of October when I leave for Arizona and start my three shows for the fall.

One show at the Phinney Center will be the first weekend in December. Hope to see you there
