The American Craft Council hosts several shows throughout the year. I will be attending my first ACC show in 2018 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
This is a very exciting opportunity and I feel honored to be a vendor at this year's event. It will be extra special, because it will begin on my birthday, April 20th and go through April 22nd, Earth DAY!!
See you there!
I am so excited to have the opportunity to be in the Southwest again this year (2018) in Tubac, Arizona, located about 90 minutes south of Tucson and very close to the Mexican border.
Last year, I drove down and participated for the first time at this historic event in the beautiful, idyllic town of Tubac, Arizona. When I first arrived, I wondered at how they could have so many people attend this show; it was such a small town. I didn't have to wonder where the people would come from, because the streets were filled, the atmosphere was fantastic.
Hope to see you there!
This will be the last time Yulefest will be held at the Nordic Heritage Museum's old location in a neighborhood in Ballard. The Museum will close right after this long-running Christmas bazaar and re-open on Market Street in 2018 with a new name: Nordic Museum.
Five years as a vendor at Julefest, it is always one of my very favorite events to attend. Stop on by for a Scandinavian Christmas festival with food, entertainment and nordic crafts.
I will be on the third floor, as always! Don't wear your sweater or coat, it can get very warm upstairs!
This will be in my old neighborhood of North Seattle. I will be located in Studio 9: Sun House Studio with three other artists.
We will be open between 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday, October 14 - 15th.
Stop on by and see us all at work! Visit online for a downlodable brochure.
Looking forward to my second art festival in Issaquah, Washington. Lying in the foothills of the Cascade mountain range, I pass by here on my way up to Snoqualmie Pass for hiking and swimming in the alpine lakes and for cross-country skiing in the winter months.
This is a very beautiful place to have an art festival and if the weather holds, it can be an absolutely magnificent fall weekend. Fingers crossed!
Last year, I flew to Minneapolis and transferred to a smaller plane to get to this small North Dakota city, Minot. This year, I will be taking the plunge and driving over 1,000 miles across Washington, Idaho, Montana and finally into North Dakota.
This will be a very exciting year for Norsk Høstfest. They will be celebrating their 40th Annual festival. This will be my second time attending this event. The largest Scandinavian Festival in North America with five halls stacked full of everything Scandinavia!
Norsk Høstfest is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that raises funds to preserve, improve and share Scandinavian culture, heritage and educational programs. Program focus areas include Høstfest in the Schools, Scandinavian Youth Camp, the Scandinavian-American Hall of Fame, Skien-Minot sister city relationship, and Norsk Høstfest.
The festival features world-class entertainment, authentic Scandinavian cuisine, Scandinavian culture on display, handcrafted Norsk merchandise, plus a fine dining establishment lead by guest chefs.
This is so exciting! I have been dreaming of Colorado for many years, being an outdoor adventure enthusiast and a skier. I finally took the plunge and applied to this show in Breckenridge, Colorado and was accepted!
Like my trip to Sun Valley in August, I'll be packing up my car with all of my necessities to show and sell my jewelry, but I will also have my mountain bike and hiking boots to take advantage of this beautiful area of the country which I have never explored. I'll stay a few days to soak in the mountains.
I am looking forward to Breckenridge on Labor Day weekend!
Again, this will be my first art show in the Sun Valley region of Idaho. I am looking forward to this one, not only because it is my first show here, but also because I will bring my mountain bike and hiking boots and take advantage of staying a few days later to explore this mountainous region of Idaho!
This will be my first time at this art festival in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. I have heard so much about it and look forward to visiting this beautiful gem in August. Hopefully, I won't have to jump in the lake if the temperatures are soaring into the 90's! I've heard of other artists who wear swimsuits under their clothing and jump in the lake and return to their booth. I think I will be one of them!
This is a fun and exciting festival to be in attendance and to visit. WIth hundreds of artists from all over the country and the Pacific Northwest, this is a magical weekend to come out and see as much art as you possibly can.
I am honored to be part of this fair the second year in a row. My jewelry is also available for purchase in the Bellevue Arts Museum Gift store year-round.
Spokane will host it's 32nd annual art fair in Coeur d'Alene Park, Brownes Addition, between Second and Fourth Streets and Spruce and Chestnut Streets.
Last year, I won my first prize in an art show for "Best Beadwork". It was a fantastic prize. This also awarded me admission into the art festival without an application process.
This is my third ArtFest and I am looking forward to driving over to Spokane again this year and my hopes are that the weather will not be sweltering hot like last year.
My fourth show in Arizona for 2017 will be the Tempe Festival of the Arts! I am so excited to return to Tempe. I drove down to Tempe with my Dad in 2013 and it was a fantastic experience.
I lived in Arizona for three years between 2000 - 2003 and returned to my birth city of Seattle, Washington after being transferred with my company.
It will be great to drive over to Idaho for the Sun Valley Art & Craft's Festival during the second weekend in August.
I have never been to Sun Valley, so this will be especially fun. Just have to make sure to bring my hiking boots and mountain bike and arrive a day early and leave a day later to enjoy this beautiful area of the country.
Seems as if Arizona is calling my name for 2017! I have three shows lined up in Arizona, with my second show in Scottsdale.
This is the 46th annual Arts Festival in Scottsdale and I will be returning to the area where my first idea of making jewelry began when I was living in Phoenix between 2000 - 2003.
I will be heading down to Tubac, Arizona in February for their 58th Annual Tubac Festival of the Arts!
When I went to Tucson last spring, I met another jewelry artist who had driven out from Vermont to attend both the Tubac Festival of the Arts and the 4th Avenue Street Fair in Tuscon.
This will be an exciting event to look forward to when I drive down to the southwest.
A new show for me will be held at the Washington State Convention Center in downtown Seattle in January. The show will begin on Friday, January 13 at 12pm. Friday through Sunday we will be open until 7 p.m.
This is the NW Remodeling Expo and I will introduce some new mixed media pieces to include with my usual lineup of hand-woven jewelry.
If you want to see something brand new from my creative repertoire, come on down to the Washington State Convention Center next year, the second weekend in January!
